DESCRIPTION
Very small warts that are just slightly raised.
Present as smooth, flat, skin-coloured or slightly pigmented surface.
They occur particularly on the face, backs of the hands and knees.
Commonly seen in the immunocompromised.
MEDICINE TREATMENT
These warts are notoriously difficult to treat with a poor response.
- Salicylic acid, 2%, topical.
REFERRAL
- Failure to respond.
- Extensive cases involving the face.
